Fire Doors

Fire Doors

To comply with the regulatory reform (fire safety) order 2005, the responsible person of the building is responsible for ensuring there is a suitable system of maintenance of fire doors & they are maintained in an efficient state, efficient working order and in good repair.

What We Offer

Survey

Your Fire Risk Assessment may pick up on the condition of your fire doors and lack of records and maintenance. Firstly, we would carry out our BM Trada certified fire door survey. This allows us to build an asset list of your fire doors which can be used for future maintenance. As part of this survey, we will look at 22 different elements of a fire door.

Maintenance & Repair

Following on from the survey we would then carry out the works that have been highlighted to ensure your fire door is compliant and in full working order. Under our BM Trada certification we are able to carry out 4 of 23 approved repair techniques.

If the complete doorset requires replacement due to damage (damage, twisted, bowed or cupped leaf), or the doorset has been determined to be non-fire rated.

We can replace with a new doorset under BM Trada's fire door installation scheme.

Detailed Reports & Maintenance Programme

On completion a detailed report will be produced on all fire door surveys along with photographic evidence and locations of doors highlighted on drawings. Our surveys can be used as an asset list to help develop a maintenance programme. We can then assist in carrying out remedial works highlighted on the surveys and ensure through regular inspection and maintenance that your fire doors will keep their integrity in the event of a fire.

BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Door Installation

There is a legal requirement for manufacturers of fire doors to demonstrate the ability of their products. However, if they are not properly installed, their fire resistance capabilities can be seriously compromised. The BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Installation scheme has been designed to provide reassurance to specifiers, contractors and end users that the product they have chosen has been installed correctly and that it should perform as intended.

Third Party Accreditation

Premier Compliance UK Ltd can issue certification for fire door installations, inspections & maintenance by being third-party accredited company under the BM Trada scheme. The huge benefit of being members of these schemes is not only can we make certified repairs, we can also offer full replacements.
